Skyrim comes out.

At least that is after all the Maths exams (don't know when specialist is)
Many people could be ruined beforehand by Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3

i don't think the cutoffs will change heaps, because of the relative nature of all the scores. as in, there may be heaps of intelligent english students but the same number will still get the 50's 49's etc. Although there will be a surge in the cutoffs, i don't htink itll be huge.

Nothing to do with study scores, more to do with subject combinations. I figured last year the cutoffs would be lower for 99.95 because not as many people were spamming high scaling LOTEs in tandem with 50s in English and Spesh - it's quite the opposite this year, from what I gather.  That, and there's a ridiculous number of high achieving kids doing two languages including/or Latin.

Guys, it might be a good idea to refrain from mentioning specific people in this thread - it's a really stressful time of year for year 12 students, and I know that when I was going through I hated the expectations that others had for me... try not to put pressure on people (:

About Philosophy

When I see a youth thus engaged,—the study appears to me to be in character, and becoming a man of liberal education, and him who neglects philosophy I regard as an inferior man, who will never aspire to anything great or noble. But if I see him continuing the study in later life, and not leaving off, I should like to beat him - Callicle
