Can't remember a thing about the book, but you could talk about tension between Pyle and the old dude, both from Phuong (i think thats her name) and what Pyle is involved with, and how this transpires into the climax. And that the pace keeps picking up until the climax, something along those lines.

so
-initial tension between the 2 characters that try to get along
-tension from what pyle is involved with + phuong
-super intense climax and w/e
-global comments (?), perhaps split up the 2nd body paragraph?

Yeah at the moment I'm thinking of dividing my paragraphs: Problem, Climax and Resolution and fourth would probably be time shift
