So my health and business cohort are really shit. only about 10% get really good marks the reast are hovering aroung 60's and below. would this have a big affect on my sac/exam marks even if i get an A+ in my exams... I have never gotten anything less than an A+ for both these subjects

If you ace the exam you get a 50 irrelevant of your cohort. Beyond that I'm not really sure how it works sorry...

If you're rank 1 it won't matter.

Depends on what school you go to? If you go to MHS (or similar) then it doesn't really matter that much unless you're way down the list. At the same time, if you do happen to go to one of those schools with smartass cohorts, don't get too arrogant. I did that, thinking that SACS meant fuck all. Scored myself a solid B+ in SACs when in the end when I got medium-high A+s for exams because I was under the assumption I was going to automatically get an A+ (this was physics). I ended up with a 40 when I probably could've gotten high 40s if I worked throughout the year.

I wrote this reply 3 times, switching between all caps and normal writing since the title made it sound like the OP was really excited about things and I wanted to sound the same. Good luck on English for people still trawling the forums at this time.
