Is it true that, achieving 100% on M.C of exam 2 will grantee a RAW study score of 30?

You mean if you get 0 in all other sections of both exams? I doubt it.

I think the C+ cut off is ~50% , and I think C+ is what you need for a 30...

Thus you are probably looking at getting 40/80 ... far higher than 22/80 and this i just EXAM 2.

For exam 1 you need around 16/40 to yield at C+ ... so yeah :P

you can afford to loss about 6,7 marks in total, i was in the same position as you last yr (3rd ranking) and i lost about 7~8 ish marks, still managed a 44

how about for a 40..

im kinda dying on practise exams.. losing more than 10 marks by not attempting questions..

You definitely still have time to learn the questions you can't do! VCAA exams don't change too much so if you can learn the basis for some more questions, you will definitely have a good chance. I don't know about the cutoff for 40, but keep in mind even if you get like 35, it will be scaled to something like 43, which is very good! Don't lose hope :)
