Insight would be greatly apprecaited: Whose Reality

Just realised that I misinterpreted the prompt to be

"A shared experience does not mean that people see things the same way"

instead of

"Shared experience does not mean that people see things the same way"

I wrote an imaginative piece and essentially this is how it went:

Blanche gets raped by Stanley, he explains the story to Stella. Stella then discusses it with Stanley and denies it to Blanche. Stanley then accuses Blanche of attempting to seduce him. Hence 'a shared experience'.

My question, did this fit the prompt?

Am I the only one having trouble differentiating between the two prompts he's written? I think you're fine.

Yeah your fine. The prompt was fairly broad so you're given leeway to interpret it in many ways.
