I use school time to chill out...well i don't overwork myself during term that's for sure, just doing the bare minimum until it really counts.

teachers at my school told us that we should do about 5 hrs of hw each day of the holidays, if thats the case id be better off at school ffs

5 hours?!?!?! as if, thats basically going to school. Argh... according to TSFX your suppose to be doing 3 hours each school night. they didn't say how many hours for holidays and weekends :S

lol i agree theres a reason why they coined the term "holiday"

Maybe a new term should be coined for Year 12 "holidays"

My school calls year 11 and 12 holidays "study breaks".. and a few of my teachers have told me we are expected to do ~10 hours every day. Joy! :(

My goals:
Chemistry -Read ch.6 + notes.
              -Checkpoints questions ch.1-6.
              -Re-write notes on previous chapters.
              -Read ch 7 and 8.
              -AOS 1 test (Checkpoints).
              -AOS 1 test (Lisachem).
Biology -Chapter review questions ch.1-3.
-Full page responses to key knowledge questions.
          -Concept cards on key knowledge.
          -Notes on ch.1-3.
          -Read ch. 4.
Methods -Chapter reviews 1, 9, 10.
            -Finish 4.3, 4.4, 9.1, 9.3, 10.1, 10.3.
            -Exam busters questions.
English Langauge -Oral presentation preparation on jargon/slang.
                        -Power point presentation on jargon/slang.
                        -Visual representation on slang.
Philosophy -Gorgias notes.
               -Nicomancean Ethics notes.
               -Review questions (NE and G).
               -Read Beyond Good and Evil.
-Notes on key knowledge for outcome 1.

If I have spare time I will probably do some extra study, but I doubt it.

I've set myself a lot more than usual:
Chemistry & Physics - Finish few remaining parts of unit 3
                            - Practice exam every day
                            - Write remaining summaries
Methods and Spesh- Do review chapters from essentials and methods textbooks for SAC first week back.
English - Persasive language analysis at least every second day(for outcome first wednesady back)

Now I've written it down, I'm starting to see how much I've got to do.

English Language - Get good at English. Do holiday homework. Read a book maybe.

Specialist Maths - Um... not much really. Holiday homework.

Physics - Uh... just finish structures and materials checkpoints.

Chemistry - Try to understand everything learnt in term 1, heaps of checkpoints, catch up on sets.

UMEP Physics - Complete set work which I didn't do in Term 1 (First 23 Chapters)

as my French teacher said, " 'holidays'...having lost their original meaning, they seem to have lost their modern meaning as well"

My physics teacher calls it a study period not a study break. lol.
When I get sad, I stop being sad, and be AWESOME instead. True story.
