Apparently a common incorrect error was h/5=r/2 which is pretty much using simliar triangles but with the wrong values. So it seems like a lot of ppl just used that technique without thinking about what they were doing.
Going to be interesting to see what they throw at us tomorrow!
lol damn thats what i did :\ ! I knew i was wrong even before i got to the end of the question and realised for a minimum the r had to be 0, according to my h value, but i couldnt figure out why..
i hope it's a gradient question, those are not difficult, literally year 7-8 applied maths with year 12 knowledge.

edit: epic post count, something to do with demons and the devil

to answer the question to the person below;
'valvoline'

to answer the second question;
'you know what i mean'

I think any question in methods (that is not related to probability of matrices) will give spesh kids a distant advantage :P

About Philosophy

When I see a youth thus engaged,—the study appears to me to be in character, and becoming a man of liberal education, and him who neglects philosophy I regard as an inferior man, who will never aspire to anything great or noble. But if I see him continuing the study in later life, and not leaving off, I should like to beat him - Callicle

Im guessing youre referring to the ones where you have like 2 lines and you hvae a coordinate etc then yuo have to find values of variables?
I was kinda leaning  towards the more crazy/out there ones. You seen any of those? :P

My maths teacher, who has been teaching for about 20 years, said that anything could be examined that you have learnt in you previous years of education concerning maths. Apparently it mentions it on the study design. But apparently it only applies for methods and no other maths subject.

yeah some people saw the triangles but used the wrong ones..

eg. Luffy :P who used the wrong triangles and ended up losing all 5 marks onthat question. THE ONLY 5 MARKS HE LOST ON BOTH EXAMS :O

That was me this year...LOL
