I think it was harder than last year's methods exam, which didn't really kick in until the last part of the last question

The multiple choice all in all were ok, except for question 21, which i guessed (and got wrong)

The extended response started off pretty easily, question 1 was quite do-able, question 2 was the same, although i found that the last part was a little bit hard, but that's probably because I wasn't thinking well under pressure

Question 3 was harder, but still alright

Question 4 was actually really, really hard, much harder than the last question of last year's exam :(

Hopefully I did well!!

Hardest Exam of all time.
1.Differential equations in Methods? WTF
2.Constant of proportionality in Methods? WTF
3. Last probability question? WTF
4. Proving t=*$#@*^*#($^? WTF
5. Multiple Choice? WTF

Yeah the paper had some aspects which were fairly biased towards the spesh kids :), however on the whole I reckon it might have been harder than last year's exam..........not to sure if that's due to time or content.

aw ouch!!!

If someone could scan a copy of that paper, that would be great! Damn the exams are getting harder every year

I was much more relaxed today than yesterday and I can defs guarantee for you guys, 2010 was a harder exam than this year's. When you de-stress it becomes a lot easier.

-Multiple choice was harder than last year, but if you did MAV 2011, this seemed easy.

I am a ~43-46 SS kind of student by the way.

I did go :0 when I saw that you had to solve a D.E. I felt very sorry for my mathematically weaker friends who don't do spesh.

EDIT: I got 21/22 for multiple choice.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR QUESTION 21 was fucked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not even one of my teachers could get that one after the exam, they all said they didn't get it. :@ ;@ ;@ ;@

good exam!
i came out with a lighter heart (by no means did i ace/own it though..)
MC was a bit hard, cant believe i forgot change of base for the last one -_-

there was some hard questions, i know i got some wrong, but im much much more happier than what i was yesterday
very interesting exam
bastards gave us a boring tassie jones question. no life/death situation, or i would have killed it.. im glad paulsterio found this exam to be harder than last years,
but there were no time difficulties, as there were with last year's

tl;dr move on and study for your other exams. actually, that has nothing to do with what i said above.

First one, gave you dv/dt and required you to find t=45 mins.

LOL! Question 22 is in the essentials textbook. I remembered asking my teacher than question during the course of the year <3
