yeh i also got the k is greater than or equal to root thing, was the second last one 1/4?

woahhh that last page may not have been such a fail, what did you get for the last probability one with machine A?

did you work it out using given that? hopefully i'll get method marks cause i just didn't know what the intersection would be and so resorted to assuming they were independent events

Yeah I did. I'm not really sure about it though.

I worked out that the intersection was the event of a dark chocolate from machine A, which is 1/2 x 1/2 = 1/4. But yeah I'm not completely sure.

Can anyone remember the fraction that .4103 was equal to?
If I see that i'll know if I got it right but I can't remember what I had to 4dp :P

Yeh something a lot of us should be doing right now. Why did they have to put it in the middle block, it ruins my studying for spesh. I suppose its better than the 3:00 pm start for spesh 2 :(
