My teacher told me to leave answers in terms of g!! what the hell? =.="

I'm actually pissed now cause that was a relatively easy exam which a lot of people would get 40/40 for, but seriously? =.=" I actually regret not reading the assessor's reports now :(

"Many students left their answers in terms of g." (2009 Assessment Report).

That's bull, they should have allowed the answer in terms of g, given VCAA uses g in answers sometimes!

Yeah, they actually do, all the time, a = g/6 ms^(-2)...etc

i still think you will be though..

you're just saying that :P LOL! do you actually believe it? :P
yes i do believe it.. although i would like you to lose a mark so that i beat you on something :P ahaha jks it will be fine man

You guys will be fine with only 1 or 2 marks gone. I messed up the last part of Q2, 3 and 4 in methods with silly mistakes, but I had all the method there @_@

Just thought I'd say this:
To whoever was still worried about saying m=20kg, check out VCAA Exam 2 2008 Q 2 (e) iv.

It says tension is "T newtons" and asks you to "find the value of T", and in the Assessment Report is says T = 1007 N.

Haha so minor, but put my mind at ease. :)

LOL yeah I did the same thing and went through past assessment reports.
For Methods and Spesh exams I always get worried when they ask to give the value. Can a value have units or is it just the number?

But yea I know it's always safe to put units now :D

Haha so did I! But for some they include the units and for some they don't. Safe to say they will accept both.

I'm not really worried about the units, I'm more worried about whether it's ok to leave answers in terms of g or do we have to use 9.8! haha!

Anyways, it's over now, time to tackle exam 2! :)
