99% SACs, clear rank 1 in strong cohort
very high A in exam 1 (1 or 2 marks off an a+)
very high A+ in exam 2 (89-90/90)

Do I have a chance at 47/48?

I got similar marks, i lost one mark off an A+ midyear (kicking myself over it), i was told about 43 ish.. so i agree with the other prediction, max 45, sorry to say :(

So far, confirmation that I lost 5 marks (2 of them multiple choice)
I'm looking at prob. mid- A+ range.
Got a high B+ on the mid year.

Just another thing -

had a chat to a teacher (@manzal - Dr Bh) and he was telling us how one of his students like in 2008 got a 49 for physics, having dropped about 4 marks per exam - and this year was one of the harder years IMHO esp because of the explain questions, so I think we're being somewhat pessimistic about our predictions! He also reckons that we overestimate how much we need to get to get a certain study score...

It had a lot of explain questions, but I thought it was a reasonable exam, I did photonics and I found it quite straightforward, whereas those who did sound felt it was harder, but I think it was a reasonable exam!

What would a High A+ for SACs + 159/180 + 90/90 (hopefully) give me in terms of SS?

What would high A for SACS and two B+'s for both exams give me?

I've used Mao's SS Estimator, and I'm thinking around the 45 mark

Haha, thanks, but I've had to take off my new avatar, because I'm applying to be a moderator and the admins didn't like it :(
