Where did you find these 'essential behaviours'? I've never seen them in my life...

This!

I don't recall learning it at all :S

Although at a lecture I went to for BM they mentioned leadership qualities could be being intrapersonal, informational and being able to make clear decisions.

But yeah, don't think there's a set definition on "qualities of a leader".. I think?
That makes me feel better. I guess we could wing it and describe in general terms what leaders actually do...

I'm the same! Except how are we supposed to get 10 marks? I don't know very much on this topic so the max I could get would probably be 4...

Oh and I forgot, here is a brief summary from my notes on the role of leadership in change management:

Why leadership is needed - A leader is needed to use their skills to act as a bridge to support employees and provide positive influences when it comes to preparation and planning, communication and cooperative participation with all stakeholders

A successful leader will need to:
- Market and promote the change in a manner that will achieve cooperation and acceptance
- Resolve conflicts, which often arise when change is implemented
- Keep an open mind, seek out new ideas and freely share information
- Cultivate a sense of stability, while at the same time push on with even more change
- Show confidence in people, share credit and recognition
- Build and communicate a clear vision

Most of it should be from chapter 7 of 'Key concepts in VCE Business Management Units 3&4'

Sounds like a plan. :)

I'm in the same boat Tash! :/

And thanks Phy, I read that thinking I've totally seen it somewhere before... Yep, in my textbook. Probably worth a skim over before tomorrow afternoon, hey :P
