I wrote for OH&S that management had to give staff training to be able to operate machinery effectively, and remove any hazards from workplace.

Job security i had constant communication and recognizing them when they do something well. Justified it by saying that if management is recognizing them for their good efforts, they will feel like a valued part of the company and therefore not feel their job is under threat.

yeah i knda did the same for th job security! :D high five! haha
im just happy its done, and its my last too!
Sweet, love it when people answer similarly. Makes me feel like it's correct. ;)

yeah exactly! :D

Some questions like the LSO's contribution's ones were overally simple!

What are people predicting A+ cut off to be?
I have a feeling its gonna be super high..

Also if i got low A+'s for unit 3 and 4, what mark would i need to get in the exam to obtain a 40?

Personally i have no idea how a study score is formed, but from what i've heard SAC scores are only used to determine a ranking, so as long as you're within the top group of students at your school you should be looking good. ps: A+ for both units should put you in a good position for 40+, but i'm clueless when it comes to this stuff.

For the facilities, design and layout question, what do you guys think about saying that location was a strategy...like i said make sure it is close to suppliers so that the materials needs are met, and the materials can arrive very quickly, even using JIT??? what you guys think???  :o ::) :-[

What did you guys write about the last question...

Show us some sample answers... (obviously dont write it all, just outline in dot points how you answered it!)

So glad that Business is finally over and done with! I think it ended up being alright, a lot of us were over thinking what kinds of questions might be asked :P
The last question... Well it did end up being Kotters... AND targets of change. Did surprise me a little, had to think a little about that one which meant I didn't finish highlighting my answers in the end.

Hope everyone found that alright :)

I started out by writing about the 3rd, 4th, 7th and 8th steps of Kotters. Then I chose two targets of change to talk about and related them to the steps in Kotters.

So I did Toyota and talked about how they updated their technology which related to the consolidate changes step as that is where the change is supported with resources.

If that makes sense...

Last year it was 52/65, but this exam seemed to be considerably easier, so perhaps 58/65?

for the kotter questions would this be right i explained the four steps and then i explained how pacific brands which is the organisation i studied implemented these steps and thereby i should how the internal environment was effected.

I'm not exactly sure but what i did was explain 4 steps, link them to SPC, then for impact on the internal environment, i wrote how the corporate culture and policies would have to be adjusted to compensate for the employees who were previously competitors, and find a middle ground where they are both satisfied.
Then i said the operations of SPC would also be affected cause they moved both sets of workers to a single factory, so the layout would have to be altered so it wasn't over crowded, and something about how they started to produce new products as a result of the merge, and therefore needed new machinery and what not.

Something like that i wrote, not sure if its correct but i hope i can get something for it. ;)
