Resources for methods

Going through 3/4 Bio this year i had a wealth of resources at my disposal, with some more useful than others.

Just wanted to know what you guys have felt most useful throughout this year.

Are the any Uni textbooks we should have (e.g. like Campbells for Bio)? What should we buy or what should we borrow from the library?

Honestly, just get the Essentials book, and don't waste time with Checkpoints and the like. Looking at your sig, you seem to be quite capable of getting a high score here, so you don't really need much for methods.

Dont waste your money on methods checkpoints... So shit. lol far too many errors in there which makes it quite frustrating when youre trying to study!

Haha, I'm glad I changed my schools textbooks for methods and spesh =D.
Heinemann sucked so much >.> Essentials ftw!

Also, check out paulsterios google docs, he has the essentials PDF textbook and other stuff on there (last time I checked).

Not great tbh, MQ and Essentials are much better (the latter being the best of the two)

Well, the questions are going to be at a higher standard, which would probably lead to a better preparation for the exam

You may get tripped up on a lot of Essential's questions, but they're generally harder than normal so don't fret if that happens. Also, try and focus more on VCAA style questions rather than other hard questions you may encounter in essentials or elsewhere.

I don't think I'll get essentials, because the rest of my year level is getting Maths World. Would be weird if I had a different textbook to everyone else haha
