Has anybody heard of the new drug krokodil in Russia?

10x cheaper than Heroin and 4x as powerful and the scary part is it's an absolute epidemic in Russia.

Scariest thing I've ever heard/seen in my life.

That bone picture (the last one) is insane. I think we have been lied to and these so called "humans" are in fact ZOMBIES!!!! It's the only explanation which makes any sense.

Sorry but what makes you think these people were educated on the outcomes on drugs?

Half my school thinks smoking marijuana is no worse than smoking a cigarette and our generation will liberate its usage.

That was a generalisation, i wasnt saying that these people are educated about drugs but i know a lot of ppl from school who frequently take drugs... Even tho we've had youth workers/organisations etc come to our school to lecture us about drugs.
Anyway, you would think that these people have some idea of what could happen to them. Surely they wouldve seen this happen to a few people or heard about on the news, read on the paper etc, you dont have to be educated about it - particularly if they choose to live this lifestyle, they should know the dangers.

Well generally in life, it's hard to think that something like this could happen to you, such as a drug addiction.

As to how they tried it, well, most people don't have the outlook in life you do, some people can work there ass off for the rest of their life and make $5 an hour. It's a shit life and they turn to drugs.

That +peer pressure and sex.

Better health-wise, not judging them on how they make you feel lol.

If you seriously think Marijuana usage (in the short OR long term) is nearly as disastrous for your health compared to cigarette usage (again in the short or long term) then perhaps you're the one who is misguided regarding drug usage. What exactly in your opinion makes marijuana worse than cigarettes?

Let me check the literature after I eat, because we covered cannabis and tobacco this semester and the impression I got was that tobacco smoke will kill you much faster and in much nastier ways than cannabis. In terms of other side effects, I'll have to actually check it out, but I'm throwing my hat into the ring for marijuana here. It's absolutely got side effects, yes, but in a comparison to tobacco/nicotine I'm not sure you could say they're worse. If you've got some decent information to the contrary, post it up and I'll read it before I get back.
