Hey guys so Allocate enrolled me in a Lecture Stream that I cannot attend. Is it bad to just ditch your stream and go to another lecturer's lectures for the whole semester, without getting it formally changed on Allocate?

Has anyone have any past experiences?
 
If I email the Unit Coordinator about getting my timetable changed (despite the Stream I want to be in being full) because of cocurricular commitments (ie. debating on Mondays) will they likely authorise it?

It's best to be in your allocated stream for law; your lecturer marks your assignment

Chuck the IT dep an email I rekon, sounds pretty odd.

I will talk to them on Monday. Seems like I don't have a fee statement for my second semester units yet. The one I have for my aerospace units was issued on July 21st. I got the email on the same day too. So I'm hoping it's something to do with the fee statement.

KP I just did Topics in Indian Philosophy and loved it! I think you'd definitely do well in it, but I dont know much about the other unit though

If I'm already receiving a scholarship am I allowed to apply for another? I feel like I need to since I have an overseas component of my BGS degree (in order to graduate) and that ventures into $4K+ for the trip and all.

You might want to have a quick google re: the rooms/orientation at RH; perhaps also try posting in stalkerspace? I think you'd be more likely to get a response from someone there.

re: parking permits: they're hella hard to get your hands on one... there's a massive list of people waiting for a permit.
re: wifi: should be okay ... obviously can't torrent etc
re: fun levels: depends what you're like as a person. I've got a couple of friends at Roberts who say that's it's pretty good living there.

In general, the new Halls are better in terms of facilities, but the old ones have the best banter (ie. less med students LOL).
