Thankyou both for the help ! I'll apply for one ! :)

So I'm really sick (anyone doing med that can diagnose me ? ) and I have a compulsory tute on Monday and compulsory lab on Thursday. Is it fine if I  get a medical certificate for the whole week and just email it to my unit convenor ? Or do I have to get one for each day and email it to tutor and unit convenor separately ?

I apologize for the many questions, this is super new to me ! Thanks :)

Um hey hope you're feeling better-- have a look in your unit guide as this differs for each unit :P (Not sure if that helps too much but i know that for my units it's all over the place :P)

does anyone know if there's a poker club on campus? I've tried searching around but everything I find is old.

Hey thankyou ! I checked and my unit guide was pretty vague so I'll just email my lecturer and let her know :)

There used to be an unofficial club in Clayton where we'd play in Sir John's (and get kicked out) or the basement of the Matheson. Lol. Don't think they play there anymore though

it's basically a bunch of brain-damaged people talking to each other at an obnoxious volume with empty Word docs open on a Mac. (although the space outside the room can be awesome at quiet times if you snag one of those little round tables)

ah alright, sounds cool, shame they don't play anymore. I was thinking it'd be awesome if there was a group with regular low buy-in or freeroll games/tourneys. All (or the vast majority ) community based poker seems to have been disbanded in the last few years in favour of big casinos and online :/

Super interesting concept. Going to rank mine based on my own experience and not an objective evaluation of things like unit structure (so things like, the tutor I had will make a big difference).

1. Political Philosophy
2. Life, Death, Morality
3. The Ethics of Global Conflict
4. Introduction to Logic
5. Human Rights 2
6. Human Rights 1
7. Democratic Theory
8. Power and Poverty
9. Poverty, Ecology, and International Justice
10. Time, Self, and Mind
11. Ethics
12. Symbolic Logic
13. Introduction to Literature A
14. The Moral Psychology of Evil
15. Human Body and the International Marketplace
16. Introduction to Literature B
17. God, Freedom and Evil
18. Introduction to Legal Reasoning
19. Psych 1A
20. Psych 1B

Left out this semester. So far, nothing much would feature high on the list.
