Yeah, congratulatons everyone :)

Short term, my course has a camp in February which will be great because:
a) I love nature and camping
b) I'll get to know all the other people in my course - and given that the course is for people who love science, leadership and are altruistic I'm sure they'll be great people (mainly at least)
Granted, I know nothing about the BSciAdv camp - but generally course camps have a reputation for being boozfests, unless they're uni (rather than club) organised. I'm sorry if that doesn't align with your expectations -- and maybe yours will be exactly what you're looking for! they have been getting a bit less so in recent years -- but it's worthwhile being prepared for that possibility too.

I should probably choose subjects ._. lol
Update: Still haven't chosen subjects. 13 days to go

Honestly I don't even know if it still exists, but if it does, make sure to sign up to LingSoc (the Linguistics Society). ;D

EDIT: You certainly don't need to be studying Linguistics to do so. :)

Granted, even if it is a booze-fest, you can still have fun :)
I found my really good uni friends at the physio camp! And it also let me start talking to other people in my course who I didn't see so often or hadn't spoken to, which was cool.

I'm pretty sure it's uni organised but thank you for the warning :)

Hi,
Does anyone know when we get to pick our subjects for this year?

Hi,
Does anyone know when we get to pick our subjects for this year?
If you're a JAFFY, then you probably would've had to pick units with the enrolment. If this doesn't work for you, it might be because you've just enrolled and it's taking a while to process everybody due to the number of people that just received an offer.
If you're not, then you should've already picked units. You're pretty darn late unless you're new to Monash (and not a JAFFY).

EDIT: For JAFFYs, you should probably try again tomorrow/ Thursday to see whether this has changed. If you are unsure what units to take or want to take an elective out of your faculty, you should double check that you are permitted to do so with your managing faculty (e.g. I had to sign a sheet to do Japanese language units as an elective as a Bachelor of Science student with the Science Student Services).

Hey guys, I applied for on campus halls two days ago  on the 15th, is there any scope of getting an offer or is it too late?
