Lost and found?! Are you kidding me?? Today we had a picture of a girl in a pink dress (not a read coat unfortunately), a few people trolling Arts students, a few days ago we had an epic chase to track down the two asian girls who couldn't drive a car and reverse parked into a red toyota twice..

yeh, and those 3 things made up like 5% of the posts.

Does anybody have any advice on how to do well when it comes to participation marks? Two of my tutes have basically turned into competitions for who can answer the tutor's questions the fastest, while my non-participation mark tute doesn't have this problem at all. It's basically 4 or 5 people dominating discussion and more or less shutting everyone else out, and I know marks don't come from talking the loudest, but it's kind of hard to reflect and make a substantial contribution when you can barely get a word in edge-wise.

hey guys,

i recently dropped a subject and with the new subject all the times available for the tutorial I have a clash. One of the clashes I have a maths lecture that I'd be happy to miss and watch online at a later date but it won't allow me as it keeps saying 'Activity Change Rejected ALLOCATION FAILED. 26950693 ATS1353_CL_S1_DAY, Tutorial, 16 clashes with MTH1010_CL_S1_DAY, Lecture, 01-P2.' Any ideas? Am I unable to do the subject as it is basically the only other subject that I have an interest in with all the arts clayton first year units.

MDMA, go to student services or use ask.monash to be manually put into the tutorial. If you know the right person and have the right reasons, you can even ask to be put in "full" tutorials and stuff like that. What entailed a good reason in 2011 was that we lived far away and couldn't make other times..lol

They just sent some copy paste crap to me until I started being like  '… so are you going to enrol me?' and then they told me they can't and theres no other unit i want to do so i just told them I'm gonna go to lectures and not tutorials lol

Monash connect were useless (telling me it wasn't possible) and after being sarcastic with them I was referred to contact the arts faculty coordinator who got me into the class within like 10 minutes. Talk about knowing the right people
