Heys
umm i was wandering those anyone have a chart or statments that explain the errors in volumetric anaylsis, because i cant find anywhere in my textbook that explains it.

for example (general idea what i am asking about)
if i rinsed the burrette with water what is its effect?
If the person is titrating overshoots the endpoint what effects will be on the result?
etc...

it was the only thing that troubled me in the sac so yea

Random- while using balance for measuring something, a gust if wind could affect weight, temperature of room, etc..
Systematic- say you are using filter paper, not all of the precipitate will go through the filter paper (used that on my sac and was correct), really depends on what stuff you use
Oh, and lastly there are careless mistakes like reading the burette wrong.

hrmmm the precipitate one isnt that for for gravimetric anaylsis? plus i was looking for answer about the rinsing effects, however i didnt realise you say a gust of wind could be used as an error might use that :P

Oh, soz, you want one for volumetric, hmmm how about
If you using a weight balance, it isnt calibrated correctly, or if you are given say naso4 acid and its predetermined as 1M that you are using as a standard soltuion but its actually .998M
