This year the aggregate required to get a specific ATAR score will probably be higher than in previous years due to the change in the way the maths subjects are scaled

So it would be the opposite to what happened in 2009 in terms of aggregate

I don't think it would make a massive difference however, not that many people do specialist maths to make a large difference

I know right! it seemed as though one year was high, one year low. So I was hoping our year was low (even though this trend probs means nothing:S)

In all honesty, it would probably have a slight effect, but not enough of an effect to get you into/out of your course

When you log onto the VCAA site, you'll be presented with the Grades and Raw Study Scores, there's a link to see your ATAR
