Just out of curiosity Quantum, where do you expect this road to end? Devise a grand unifying theory or perhaps education (ie, teach)? I've always been interested in QM.

I'm more likely to go towards education than devise some grand unified theory. I'm wanting to do a masters (and hopefully a PhD) because I would like to teach university level subjects rather than high school, simply because there's nothing exciting in the latter. It would be motivating to see students in high school achieve their goals, but when you consider VCE maths/science, all you're really doing is teaching kids how to take exams. BORING!!!

Yes indeed, physics at university level is much more.. voluntary, for lack of a better word.

I was thinking of majoring in physics and doing a diploma in pure maths, but the decision to finish in 2 years changed that. Also, I wasn't too fond of physics after doing quantum mechanics so yeah..

Whenever dc gets asked about his overloading, I make sure to always be the next post advancing my theory that he's crazy

I realised that I was probably a little too harsh on VCE, but it's upsetting when you think about VCE and all it's about is getting a score that categorises you. Not only that but students can't actually dedicate time to learn.

Really? So the results are not in your study plan? That's quite weird.

I am like, so convinced that during maintenance last night they did something to prevent us getting results until the 2nd and then the second maintenance on the 3rd is to re-allow the drip by drip feed of result release from then until the 9th.  None of us got any results today! D:

MAYBE I AM JUST PARANOID, most likely choice.  I can't wait another full day before the 2nd, it makes me too anxious.
