[ENGLISH] Images of Encountering Conflict

As a task, I was asked to collect 3-5 images (cartoons, photographs, illustrations, etc.) that was depict the concept of encountering conflict...

Which ones specifically would directly link back to the concept of encountering conflict..

since some text focuses on refugees, would asylum seekers be one?

err....ok...could I link the cartoon below to conflict?

What could I say for this cartoon though?

Even though the government welcomes asylum seekers into the boarders of Australia..asylum seekers would still often be exposed to inequality, maltreatment and discrimination based on their skin colour and racial status ???

Although this condition of life upholds their future, asylum seekers are prepared to adopt to it as the conflicts will shape who they are ???

something along these lines, yeah?

For this one, could I say that the body language depicts employee disagreements between their ideas and procedure processes. Hence, this displays the act of workplace conflict where their is a atmospheric culture of envy and misinterpretation amongst subordinates and management which will often lead to failure of completion and mistrust..

despite of the conflicts, This could also be seen as an opportunity for both subordinates and management to strengthen their working relationship and the culture of the company.

I kinda have to the same thing but with conflict articles, and write "detailed" notes about each one. Im distancing myself from refugee related news though. There are plethoras of other conflict that can be found in the world, surely, because at my school, its the only conflict the teachers are intent on exposing to us :| not that i am intending to start resesrching or a few weeks

check out these images perhaps?

Also, images work really well with context, they're something different, but perhaps if you're going to use them as an example you could get a well known image/painting rather than a cartoon.

it doesn't have to be something EPICALLY newsworthy, something every second kid is gonna have a picture of when you rock up at school..... there is conflict all around us, in all sorts of scales-- think about the consequences of changing ratings of programs, of train stations breaking down and forcing commuters to be stranded, think about conflict within one's self ---take anyone with an eating disorder, familial conflict strikes when their loved one is so helpless, natural disasters......conflict is all around us you can flick through any newspaper whether national or local and you can find examples. just try not to make generalisations, especially the comments about the workplace beneath that photograph, how do you know they are envious, mistrusting, etc. ? but apart from that, your ideas are fantastic, elvin.lam1, you really have got the gist of what you need to be focusing on, just tie up those ideas and it'll be perfect, start a conflict scrapbook for the year's work and keep adding to it throughout 2012!
