I guess it differs from person to person, but I'd friendzone a hot guy if he didn't have any qualities that I'd like. I'd prefer someone smart over someone good-looking anyday.
Getting back on topic, I think this video is true...because I feel that all the guys that actually bother to makes friends with me in the first place only put in the effort because they
are interested, if only slightly. (And I'm shy as well, which explains I don't have many guy friends.)
So the way I see it is that acquaintanceship with a member of the opposite sex (or the same sex, if you swing that way) will go two ways: it could lead to interest, which is then the impetus to make the effort to form a close friendship, or it could lead to nothing, and you only ever remain casual friends. And if no-one's interested then...FOREVER ALONE.
