You could try the desalination plant in Wonthaggi. Pay rates there are ridiculously high even for unskilled work. I know a guy who is getting ~$50/hr for planting trees. I know it's not a permanent position but the money might appease you until you come to your senses.

Haha my dad is a supervisor at the desalination plant in Wonthaggi :P
He says he pretty much does nothing and earns just as much money as he did in the mines haha

Please define what good money means? Office jobs make pretty 'good money' if you ask me, such as if you worked for one of the big 4 accounting firms etc. First year out is like 60k or so I hear. Otherwise, seeing as how you seem to like maths, engineering or actuarial studies may be the degree for you. I believe materials/chemical engineers make quite a bit. Actuaries too, but the maths is most likely (I'm pretty sure but I shall save myself in case I'm wrong) NOT the maths you know and love right now. So you may need to research that a bit more.

To become any of these:

- office job: requires usually a decent resume and preferably a bachelor in something that is mildly related--majoring in accounting and finance is probably preferable in a bachelor of commerce
- actuary: I believe there are both undergrad and post grad courses in this. For example, in melbourne the desired pathway is probably the bachelor of commerce, majoring in actuarial studies.
- engineer: bachelor of engineering or master of engineering.

hmmm.. well apart from what other people have already said I can only come up with high- up managerial roles.
Maybe a pilot? I think that could probably fulfil your financial requirements plus you might enjoy it at the same time. Maybe you could have a look for something that you will not only finding enjoyable, but will simultaneously pay really well; two birds with one stone - have a think about it?  :)

I've heard that air traffic controllers get paid well too, oh also jobs to do with logistical stuff (sorry, bit vague there) like custom brokers or the people who control importing/exporting stuff etc...

If you want to earn the mega bucks go do commerce. Seriously that's where the money is.

I question whether you are a troll or not after most of your threads/posts, you seem really naive and believe that everything will be relatively straightforward and it will all be served to you on a plate. But i will tell you now, IT ISNT! Life is a fucking a bitch, if you continue to have these absolute and limited perspectives then you will struggle when you are confronted with a challenge.
Go get a part time job over this summer break, use it as a break from study or whatever you'll earn some money and get a taste of working in the real world.
And wtf is with the view that if i get paid enough i will motivate myself to do my job even if i dislike it. Sorry but this is just pure bullshit. Sure yuo may be able to hold that stance for a short time but constantly doing something yuo hate for more money is stupid. It will probably just add more stress to your life. You may as well do something you have a passion for and earn a bit less, that way when you rock up to work yuo wont be bored to death or just waiting for the day to end...

If the rewards are good enough, I can motivate myself to work under extreme conditions for long periods of time.
You say that now, but give it even a month and that'll change pretty quickly.

Well at the moment at least, anything to do with mining. Over in WA apparently the mining companies are absolutely desperate for people to work there in heaps of positions. My Dad works with a lot of mining companies over there and was telling me of how they are even desperate for receptionist type people.  One woman was hired 2 weeks ago for a salary of ~$100 K a year. She was hired as a receptionist. There are heaps of jobs there that require virtually no previous skill too. So if you were looking for money without job satisfaction, at the moment at least the mining industry might fit your criteria pretty well.

But please, please don't focus just on the money. It will come back to bite you. My uncle is absolutely filthy rich, earns about ~$105K a week. He does like his job but he is so focused on the money that he has pushed everything else aside. He has a large mansion but no one to share it with. He has hardly any friends because he has such a horrible personality. He has money but nothing else; he even doesn't have much family left that will stand him.
My aunt has worked a job all her life that she absolutely hates and no amount of money has been able to make it better. She has turned into the worst person I have ever met with one of the most negative outlooks on life. She also has turned away everything else that matters due to what her work has done to her.
My mum doesn't care about the money and works a job that she loves but pays a pittance and she is happier than she has ever been before.
I am only saying this to you because I have seen what this focus on money can become but please reconsider what you're asking for here. If you remain the same as you are now, you will push away everything that matters and all you will have at night to comfort you is your money. I have seen it before and it is the last thing I would want to happen to anyone.

Apparently there is this guy that can get 15k a week from just bending bent frames back into shape for cars, and his the only guy in Australia that can do it without ruining the paint.

He comes into my work some times. :P
