usually in the comfort of your own home.
If you're determined to get 50 in specialist maths, and you do, teach spesh, then.

hate to reiterate a point, but as soon as you start getting into work at 8 and leaving at 6 30 (or worse), you have no time (let alone energy) to do anything with your money. You get two weeks A YEAR off from work, including christmas etc, so it's not even like you can live the good life and go travelling a lot etc. After you get into pretty much any job, you'll be able to afford an iPad or whatever else it is you think you want at the moment, but in the end work will consume your life. I wouldn't recommend medicine or law - 5+ years of study, then start out with massive hours and relatively low wage. Investment (in theory) is the way to go - in that regard, I'd study commerce. Good luck: with a perspective like yours, you'll need it.

Beat me to it :P

I can't even remember the amount of times my mates and I have attempted to calculate an approximate for his annual earnings.

If you're exceptional at your schooling and are good with people skills maybe you should try and become a tutor SAS.

Honestly, in a country like Australia there are many jobs that pay decently and that you can enjoy. Friend told me garbage collectors earn a  lot of dough (if you're willing to wake up 4am and smell it all). Average Australian citizen wage is approximately 50k from memory (may have changed), combining it with a spouse's wages you'd be able to live comfortably. Money isn't everything. You can buy a larger house, but you can't buy a happy family.

Be a sparkie. My sis is an engineer and makes a shit load but even she says that I should be a sparkie instead of an engineer as it's good well and is a low stress job. Your also a pretty smart person so you could start you own business eventually and most of your competition will be less intelligent people so you can be making even more money. Its a smarter choice really to compete against mostly high school drop outs that to go into medicine, law or even IT and go up against a lot of really smart people.

If money is all you care about then you should consider a career in pro golf/tennis/soccer/NBA/NFL or just become the best in the world at anything really.
