Thanks AN

Just a quick thank you before the big day to all the people who had taken time out of their own lives to help us throughout the year, especially during that exam period with all those last minute questions. Even though some of us were competing against one another, we all still made an effort to help each other out

Thanks guys

It's not a competition per se, I'd happily get an ATAR a little bit lower if that means I'd helped heaps of others achieve their goals and plus, we give help, we receive help, we all do better :)
(I guess the only losers in the end are those who neither help others nor receive help :P )

But yeahh, thanks AN, you guys have been awesome this year, I only ever thought to come here to find a copy of the mid-year exams for Physics and Chem, but somehow I decided to stay and until today, it's a site which I visit on a daily basis :)

+1, helping others is the best way to learn imo

I've already thanked AN via fb, but I'll thank this generous community once more: THANKS! If I do alright in physics, it'll be thanks to AN 100% :)

Yeah, I only thought I'd be here to get the methods exam 1 solutions... now look at me :-\

Nah but seriously, thanks heaps to everyone that has ever helped with any questions, if I get a half decent score tomorrow it'll all be due to you guys. Coming from an average school, the resources & people on here are amazing and I know I wouldn't have even had a chance at getting the score I want if it wasn't for AN. :D

After having a rough day amd fighting with friends I came here after finishing the methods course shortly before midyear, to find valuing the sames things I did. Thanks to everyone who has helped with questions and understanding what is actually going on. Without AN I would probably have dropped a couple of ATAR points.

^This seriously is true, plus helping each other out is fun, although it was a hell of a good method of procrastination.

Yep! Thanks for helping out with all my nooby questions :P
Coming from a less competitive school AN showed me that anything is possible, you guys motivated me throughout the year and thus my goals are higher than what would have been - that is if i didnt come across AN.

Seriously guys without ATAR notes my ATAR would be under 50. No joke.

Guys your all a bunch of legends. This site has been very rewarding and I've made a lot of new friends. Its a daily occurrence to check IRC now to see who is on and have a talk and I will associate most of my happy memories to here.

This is my then a community to me, its a group of mates that I've shared my ups and downs with. :)
‎"We divert our attention from disease and death as much as we can; and the slaughter-houses and indecencies without end on which our life is founded are huddled out of sight and never mentioned, so that the world we recognize officially in literature and in society is a poetic fiction far handsomer and cleaner and better than the world that really is."

Speaking on behalf of the older crowd, thanks to all you younger guys for making the year worthwhile.  As always, there were ups and downs, but we've seen a very vibrant, cohesive, and above all else, helpful community on the whole.  And really it's for this that losers such as myself still stick around.  :)
