De La didn't do too badly. I was ranked 4th overall.

Dux got 99.35, then 99.2, 98.85 then me :)

Yeah not so well in the upper end though lol. Only 2 people over 99, 36% over 95. We had a very small cohort though

50% of VCE students received an ATAR of over 80 and 24% over 90. Dux "only" got 98.65 (still a bloody good score). Our school does offer IB though, which would possibly have take some stronger students from VCE, so aren't counted in the statistics. Usually (mass generalisation here, there are plenty of exceptions) the better students who do a language take IB.

that's still amazing! and wow! 36% over 95 is really good!! considering that's the top 5% of the state

my school would have gotten probably around the 15% mark over 95 :S

Not really, De La isn't really that good. We consistently rank ~160-ish not horrible, but certainly not good either.

Which James? initials?

Not sure of how many got over 90 at my school (I only really know a few of the Year 12s since I'm in Year 11) but the Dux got 93.xx, I'd say it's pretty good given we're ranked ~400 in the state..
