I don't mean to sound like a douche complaining, but I was honestly expecting more for spesh. Got 40 raw (which I think is still good!), but was honestly hoping for 44-45 (thought I lost 4-6 marks in total).

Furthermore, I thought methods was marked easier! I swear I lost 8-10 marks, and somehow got a 46!

Luckily the scaling was awesome :)

Yeah I thought I only lost 6 marks across both and ended up with 42... but I think the awesome scaling kind of makes up for it :P

rohit, that's how i felt, i only thought i lost about 5 marks all together, and i'm ranked one in a strong cohort, which should give me full marks for sacs :(

i must have lost marks for dodgy stuff, what the hell!!!

methods was fair though, i think i lost 2 marks on exam 2, which makes sense :)

even though the scaling makes up for it, the higher aggregate cancels it out :(

Yep same, I know I lost 4 on exam 1 but I got all the correct answers for exam 2, so it was only down to the few proof questions/working to knock me around, and I got 42...

My 40 -> 50.6

In 2009, 46 -> 50.7

So, it was MASSIVE!

Hmmm, it would be harsh if 36/40 was a B+ :S

*RAGE*

how do you know spesh was marked so hardly? If the exam's marked hardly it  implies that it's a consistent hardness, which should NOT affect how difficult it is to get a certain score. Shouldn't it just mean a lower score is required for x study score?

E.g.
In 2 years the cohort of 4 same students who did the exact same exam and wrote the exact same things are marked differently
Year 1: Student 1: 100% Student 2: 100% Student 3: 90% Student 4:80%
Year 2: Student 1: 50% Student 2: 50% Student 3: 40 % Student 4: 30%

Study scores year 1
Student 1: 50, 2: 50 3: 23 4: 10
Year 2
Student 1: 50, student 2: 50, student 3: 23, student 4: 10

I think you have to wait until you see A+ cut offs etc. before you make any judgement
