Yes I have actually. It is a little of both at times and on first impression I hated it, but it really is amazing and there's a lot of depth to it (or else it wouldn't be on the curriculum :-)). It just takes a little longer to appreciate than some texts I guess :-)

I love Mary/Max!!! If only every Lit text can be as amusing as it...

As for Chekhov, I found 'About Love' was very profound and interesting.

What about all you Chekhov's readers??? Which short story did you like?

1. Why are you doing this subject?
It is so much better than English! And the people there actually want to be there.

2. Which texts are your school using? And, which texts do you currently believe you are going to use on the exam?
-Wide Sargasso Sea
-In Cold Blood
-The Aunt's Story
-Mansfield's Short Stories
-Freedom of the City

In Cold Blood and maybe Mansfield. Is anyone else studying In Cold Blood?

3. What study score are you aiming for?
50. But realistically anything over 40 would be great. Talking to the people from my school this year who got above 40 in Lit they seemed confident they did well in the exam. And did. Haha.

4. Is literature considered as the best subject ever for you???!!!!
After Philosophy!
