Doctor of Vet Medicine (for a friend)

Hey guys,
My friend from school is tossing up between biomed or a science degree. If she were to choose the bachelor of science she would intend to go into the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine - what she's asking is what would be required to get into this postgrad and whether or not it would be CSP or a full-fee spot.

I've read here http://www.futurestudents.unimelb.edu.au/admissions/entry-requirements/guaranteed-entry/guaranteed_entry_pathways_by_course that CSP spots are guaranteed for 98.50+ ATARs. Seeing as she didn't get an ATAR that high, would that mean that if she got into the Doctor that it would only be a full-fee spot that she could obtain?

Thanks for your help.

No, she can get a CSP, she'll just have to compete for it, no guarantees

Thanks Russ, I did a bit more reading and eventually found my answer. So there's something like 50 CSP which will be made up of some that are guaranteed and the rest are people who simply just compete based on their uni marks? And I had the understanding an Australian Fee place was where she would pay up front but thank god I was wrong so if she were to get either spot it wouldn't matter all that much :)
