Fringe ATAR and cutoff question

Hi guys. There is an ANU degree I want to get into and the ATAR cutoff is 84, however i got an ATAR of 83.95. What are the odds of getting into the course?

Clearly in last year might not be the same this year. Plus, u were so close (.05) on getting that.
Personally I think you have a 95% chance to get in. Remember that there's always middle band,
and some people who don't choose to do your course even if they get in the first round.

Although, I don't want to give you false hope, I would be very surprised if you didn't get in. Did you do well in the VCE subjects that relate to the degree? This will increase your chances.

I did get mostly Bs and a few As in the commerce subjects (thats the degree I want to get into). I did the ACT system (with AST) in Canberra. Also, there is one degree interstate with an ATAR cutoff of 85 that I am sort of considering, what are the chances with that (i'm assuming slim)?
