The IT Crowd
I second this motion! The IT crowd is awesome (if you can deal with weird British humour/low-budget productions)
I won the GAT: 49/50/50.

Black books, for those of you into the whole British comedy stuff. Absolute genius of a show with brilliant acting.

inbetweeners a prime example

in betweeners only lasted that long, beacuse of the cast.

Has anyone here seen Fawlty Towers? One of my favourite shows from the UK although it's a tad dated1

1:Actually it's really old, like monty python old2
2:Considering that John Cleese is in both of them, it makes sense

Why the size 1 font? ???

But YES! Amazing show, despite being old. The ep with the Germans is my favourite.

My current watch list.

Allen Gregory
American Dad
Family Guy
How I Met Your Mother
Modern Family
Raising Hope
The Big Bang Theory
The Cleeveland Show

Been getting into a lot of the old stuff (mostlt sitcoms) that are on 7Mate during the day.

On my to-watch list (so far).

Bones (from the beginning)
Rules Of Engagement (from the beginning)

I watch a ton of other crap too, but the shows on my 'watch list' are shows I watch every episode (or close to that) of.

Oh and if you're after the most EPIC show I've ever watched in my whole entire existence - FlashForward. But be warned, it has the shittest ending of any TV series I have ever seen. I was so pissed (and still am) that ABC America stopped production. Saddest day of my life.

Whatever you do, DO NOT watch Star Trek. Saw an episode last week, biggest BS ever. You've been warned.

the huge downside about UK shows are that the only have 6-8 eps per season and only last for 3 seasons..

The downside of UK shows is that quite a few of the shows are mindnumbingly dry and also inaccessible due to its obscure British culture references. The upside to this is that if you do get it, it runs all American comedy into the ground.

Also, 3 seasons is more than enough. Most shows get horrible after the first (or second).
It's really not that hard to quantify..., but I believe that being raped once is not as bad as being raped five times, even if the one rape was by a gang of people.

Has anyone seen Goodness Gracious Me? It's an old-ish Brit/Indian comedy, very funny imo. Fits into david10d's above quote, only has 5 eps in the first season!

I love how bogan they made Pippa Black look. You know she's from Narre Warren. Then again, it makes sense how bogan they made her.

Burn Notice, even though it has absolutely no relation to Scrubs.
