nah he wasn't. Did someone actually get 148/150? :S

i heard of so many great scores that i'm slightly suprised my 70/71 netted me a 50 especially with the high 64.5 cut off in exam 2

Anyone here know how many marks you can lose across both exams for chem to get 50?
Lowest I've seen is 6.
2010: Business Management [47]
2011: English [44]   |   Chemistry [45]  |   Methods [44]   |   Specialist [42]   |   MUEP Chemistry [5.0]   |   ATAR: 99.60
UMAT: 69 | 56 | 82 | = [69 / 98th Percentile]
2012: MBBS I @ Monash

So if in 2011, you had the #1 sac rank, and got 69/72 for both exams (and they were the best exam scores in your cohort) you would be guaranteed 50?
Within reason, yeah it COULD be, don't wanna make any outlandish statements though..
