How to do well in Revs?

Hi everyone,

I have heard through so many people how much work is required to do Revs - and while Im ok with this I would like to have some tips going into next year to make the subject more manageable. So I was just wondering if anyone has any wisdom about how one does well in revs (any particular study routine, organisational tips, holiday studys?) - Did anyone read ahead of the class? - and if so how did that work?

NB. I do have a real love for history but I am planning to do revs in Year 12 so realistically i wont have as much time as i would like to dedicate to the subject. - Im sure most people would have been in this position, and I wonder how did you cope, because obviously falling behind on the work is not a good idea!

Thanks :)

Summarise absolutely everything that you read - I recommend using Word documents to organise your info.
Watch a few of the History Channel documentaries on Youtube of your revolution - they are dramatised and sometimes falsely suggestive but they will give you an idea of the scope of your revolutions that will be beneficial.

Its up to you how much work you want to do in the holidays but if I were you I'd try to get my teeth stuck into the first few chapters of your textbook and get an overview of the revolutions as a whole.

DO NOT LET YOURSELF FALL BEHIND WITH THE WORK LOAD .... always do your homework, don't let it accumulate and you will be okay!
I wanna be the very best, like no-one ever was. DUN DUN DUN.
