A+ in your exam is a must.
A+ in SAC's will help as well,
but you need an A+ in the exam.

if you get say A+ sacs, i think a 8 8 8 in the exam is enough to get you that 40-41 :)

An A+ in the exam isn't a 'must'. Paulsterio got A+ A+ A for a 42 this year.

but both Paul and I would've done really well in our SACs to still manage a 42
I know people in my class who got A+s in the exam but managed a 38/39
so don't underestimate the significance of SACs

Hmmm. So would 7, 8, 8 on the exam with low A+ sacs get a 40?
With the exam, does there tend to be the piece that students generally find harder?

Depends what school you go to with sac grades. I only got one A+ all year... mostly all A's and one B+ in fact and my sac grades ended up being A+ for both units. I think most people are pretty solid with text... context is more challenging...
