I havn't touched an integral in a while, I would be terrible at this.  ;D Still sounds too funny to miss out.

we've had karaoke, we've had boat, we've had picnic, we've had bbq, but now... we'll have integration.

Er fuck I did NOT read the context here. The 3/4 students will have a definite advantage over 1/2 because they know about 4 or 5 more techniques than you guys do.

I thought you were talking about year 12 students having an advantage over year 11 students doing a 3+4 in year 11.

My bad :P

This is what I've got for that question I put up.

There is probably an easier way to do it? Someone check if they feel like it. Also there may be small mistakes in typing it up or just the setting out so could someone check for me too?

A study score isn't an indication of how well one can integrate, why don't we keep it at a spesh level, say, cause then even the uni kids won't have an advantage over a good year 12 kid :)

Haha, an extra year or two might give you a bit of a knowledge advantage but nothing major, but Mao (a year younger than me) creamed me in the subjects we did together and when you get down to the VCE level there is precious little difference. So no discernable advantage really :)
Enwiable or any Uni maths students can manage or control this event?

It'd be interesting to see the uni math students tackling double and triple integration lol i wouldn't it would take a while though :P.

Anyways Engineering students, maths students, science students, commerce or possibly should med, should par take this event. Ah, who cares everybody is welcome :D.

We need a bouncer to keep the trolls out though :P

Prerequisite: Calculus 1 or Specialist Maths.

Nah, not med, med students will have year 12 maths, that's all, you don't do maths in med

That is what I had meant to say in a much simpler sentence :P I agree, but sadly I think I might lose then :( damnit! hahaha

How about med students verse Specialist Maths kids or First year maths?

They might be kids that are doing biomedicine with a concurrent degree in Pure mathematics, so I am a bit aware of it.

Any ideas though :P?

Yeh we need it a bit harder :) Knowing me I'd probably overdo and overwork a very simple problem! I get the easy ones wrong and the complicated stuff right!

I can't even differentiate anymore, not to mention integrate... It's amazing how quickly you forget things after you stop using them. Then again, it'll probably come back quickly if I went to revise it I guess.

It isn't, but it means they probably make minimal mistakes when doing so.

Biomedicine isn't MBBS :) you do maths in Biomed (even without the Diploma in Pure Maths), you don't do maths in MBBS.

Hmmm, I think we should have like maths olympiad questions rather than just purely integration questions, that might be more fun :)
