Hi everyone,
I'm posting this here since Daniel OKed it

As some of you may know, I own the website
http://www.vcestudyguides.com. It's basically a free website filled with English study guides for students.
What am I after?I am currently looking for an awesome student or English tutor who is interested in helping me write up a 400-500 word section in our blog section
http://www.vcestudyguides.com/blog. The blog is designed to give friendly advice to students on a level that they can relate to. Some of the topics in the past have included: What teachers look for in English students, What is metalanguage?, Interview with an ex-VCE examiner etc. The topic you choose can be about whatever you want - from 'how to make the most out of your time in VCE' to 'what's one tip that you think all students should know' etc. It can be colloquial, anecdotal, humourous - it's completely up to you!
Why should you go out of your way to do it?Firstly, you can get your ideas out there and help hundreds of students who visit the site daily. You are also invited to share your credentials at the end of the blog post, meaning that if you're an English tutor, you'll expose yourself to over a thousand potential students in just a month! If you are a student who is aspiring to become a tutor, this can also be a good starting ground and you can practice your writing skills
Why am I doing this?Every month I am the writer for VCE blog apart from the rare guest blogger. I am hoping to get fresh new ideas from someone else to contribute to the site in order to achieve a bit of variation in the type of advice given. This site was initially created for my students but has since been released to the public. Although I have ads on the site, it doesn't off-set the amount of money and time I spend on the site. Having someone else write up a blog will mean that I am able to focus my time on writing new study guides that are in demand by visitors. So it's a win-win-win for you, me and the students!
So if you're interested, please feel free to pm me
