How easy is it to transfer courses at Uni?

Would it be difficult (e.g. transferring from a low ranked university to a high ranked one in your course)?

What are people's experiences when it comes to transferring courses or to a better uni?

Completely depends on the universities, what you're studying etc.

For instance, trying to transfer from VU Arts to Monash Law would be considered difficult as it is an incredibly challenging and competitive transfer. VU Arts to Monash Arts, on the other hand, isn't as difficult as long as you have got the required average.

Feel free to post more details about the transfer you're considering and I'm happy to let you know :)

What would you expect the required average to be?
And what about VU Arts ---> UoM Arts

Easy?
Are you sure? ???

Generally the minimum requirements for transfer are 75, though being higher will always help.

I can't say for Melbourne, but if you were transferring to Monash Arts (which has a similar ATAR requirement to Melbourne), you'd need an average of 65% to be safe, which is 100% achievable if you put in a bit of work.

Yea, a bit far for me too. 1.5 hours to Monash, compared to the ~30 minutes to UoM
