@Stick: I live in the Eastern Suburbs, but anywhere in Glennie is fine.  :D

Thanks everyone for the suggestions

I know some fantastic restaurants in the Camberwell area, near the Rivoli cinema:

- Ambrosia (Greek)
- Choi's (Chinese)
- Deco (Modern Australian)
- Fiorelli (Italian/Modern Australian)
- Georges (Modern Australian)
- Monk and Me (Malaysian)
- Tea House on Burke (Chinese)

These aren't 'fine dining' restaurants, but they can be a little pricy (approximately $20-$30 for a main meal). They're probably good if you wanted to celebrate something special with your family; we tend to go to the movies afterwards since it's just so close.

My favourite dessert at the moment is yuki ichigo. They don't photograph well... but basically... in the centre is a single strawberry, which is surrounded by whipped cream and rests on a layer of cake. All of this is wrapped in a soft layer of mochi, and dusted with icing sugar. Some people describe it as a strawberry shortcake wrapped in mochi.

I guess my favourite food is arancini. It's basically an Italian rice ball with minced meat, cheese and some other ingredients (usually peas) and is covered with bread crumbs.

BEST FOOD is anything thats meat.

Back in the days neanderthals AKA the cavemen ate meat as their delicacy and super (or dinner).

Please don't attack me vegetarians.

Falafels
Takoyaki

Balls are delicious.

(The first doesn't necessarily have to be spherical)

I'm still not sure, but your best bet would be a Japanese restaurant:

Totally agree. My mum makes them (and the vegetarian ones too). :D The benefits of an Italian family.  ::)

They are sometimes an entree at Italian restaurants, but they're small in size - the traditional arancini are about a handful. Find an Italian friend (in particular, a Sicilian friend) and ask them to make some for you. :P
