^^^
Immunology and Pathology, but it's nothing special, just classes from each so there's no cohesion. Immunology is just the best one :)
Also turns out to be pretty handy for the MD, which is a nice fringe benefit

I like how this was the case, and yet still The Age still writes this article;

http://www.theage.com.au/national/education/melbourne-uni-dilutes-disadvantaged-intake-20110321-1c3uk.html

...

Did you, erm, look at the date on that article?

It would've been Stonecold, but he prefaced it with, "I can't believe UoM has allowed 56% under the cutoff given they previously promised they'd reduce it this year"

From what I hear biomedicine and science are practically the same (in terms of choosing similar subjects) and if anything there is more flexibility in science for other career opportunities.
2012-2014. BSc: Neuroscience. University of Melbourne.
2015-2018. Doctor of Optometry. University of Melbourne.

Unlikely to respond to any PMs these days.

Hey russ does biochem + molecular biology confer any advantage in the MD course? I'm probs leaning more towards this major ATM :)
UniMelb - Bachelor of Biomedicine, Major: Pharmacology (2012-2014)
UniMelb - Doctor of Medicine (2015-2018)

Yes, essentially biomed is a more tailored science course. This kind of thing is perfect for someone like me whose interests in the scientific field lie within the realms of health, biology and chemistry. This course also fulfills the prerequisites for the MD as part of the core subjects.

I know someone who got in on the dodgiest SEAS category (he lives in this massive house, has shitloads of money, but it's in a "poor area") with an ATAR of 92.05. It's sooooooo ridiculously unfair for the 98ers who miss out on their course so that some rich bludger who cheated the system can take their place.

Damn those who cheat the system! But if you did have the possibility, I think many would consider the opportunity of doing it unfortunately.
