Dude stop it! From tmro, get off an, stop feeling sorry for yourself and GET YOUR HOMEWORK DONE.
Honestly, everyone here seems madly pro but I'm sure many of us are  in this situation... Some to a lesser extent than others :P

And two weeks is the same as the 1/2 or term 3/4 holidays... Heaps of time! XD
I know, says me who wastes my life on irc but seriously, you can do this! You just need to be self-motivated and need to tell yourself to get full into year 12 mode now. If u picked up a pen these holis, you're in front of 50% of the state already! Or so I like to tell myself...

This is your last chance to try your hardest at school so make the most of it! :)
Best of luck. And clean your desk and make a list if u can't think of where to begin maybe :P

And develop a passion - research career options! 90s don't necessarily guaranteed best life in the future - you could do just as well in whatever u want to do. Set a goal! :)

I agree with you here. I set my mind to doing the whole Chem course in the holidays, and I honestly slacked off. 2 days ago, I was like, "Na, fuck this , LETS GET THIS SHIT OVER WITH!".....and so, if anyone does chem around here would know (its pretty hard self-teaching), but I have finished the WHOLE OF ASO2, in 2 days.

Think about how much you could do:)

Wowww that's so inspirational you make me want to attempt the same! I need to go to officeworks first tho ahhaha xD
Happy enough after one hell of a year.

2013 - bachelor of health sciences/master of clinical prosthetics and orthotics at La trobe :))

I did the specialist textbook then pretty much gave up on my other 4 subjects.
I should probably read my literature novels in these last few days...

Are you serious? OMFG. I haven't even completed the holiday homework which was the first 3 chapters :(.. the thing is me is whenever I'm stumped by a question which I don't understand I simply give up or loss motivation and spend an hour just staring at the damn question haha. But that's really some amazing stuff, I wish I could do what you done.. I fail @ understanding the concepts..

I did the specialist textbook then pretty much gave up on my other 4 subjects.

Absolute legend mate, how did you do it!!

And to the OP, I'm sort of in your position at the moment, except that I've tried to attempt the work but I have trouble understanding the work, but I would recommend you to try your best in completing the assigned holiday homework if you are having trouble you should note all the questions you are having trouble with and harass your teacher whether it be after or before school or get some of the guys here to help you out with them. Al though don't think that you are the only one who has slacked off the holidays I'm sure the majority of the state is in your position atm so there's no need to worry.

Shit man. Unit 3 and 4? DAYUM.

@giveup: I just read the textbook, if I dont get it, I do the questions, if I dont get that, then I go on Youtube, theres this Tutorvista Video-maker (what do you call those?) and look if theres a video on that. Normally it works, ut if it doesnt I ask on AN or any random that knows chemistry.
If you really want to get that score, well, so do 40,000 other students. You just have to keep that at the ack of your mind, and persevere to show that you are unlike the rest, and willing to give it all you have got.
I think you can do it. If you dont get a question, cut your losses and ask someone here. Spam me if you want. But eventually the more problems you have, that are then solved, the better you will become.

I made sure I did my holiday homework at the beginning of the holidays, gave myself a couple of weeks break (so I wouldn't lose concentration) and now I'm revising it.

I wish I did that, but then again, having 130 qu's to answer for English....really puts me off
