Just wondering what are my chances of being able to transfer from the Bachelor of Science to the Bachelor of Commerce at UoM after a semester?

What kind of scores do I need and what are any other requirements?

Thanks!!

Not an expert on this but I think it would be easier to do this end of year. Mid-year is judged almost solely on ATAR score (to the best of my knowledge - being a mid-year entrant from RMIT) whereas end of year takes into consideration uni marks more heavily. If it's looking at uni marks it's actually fairly easy to get the grades they want. I'll let someone else expand on that though.

Well my atar of 94.3 was only a little below the clearly-in and the reason why I'm so keen on semester is because I wanted to do Commerce followed by Masters of Engineering and I'm not keen on going to uni for 6 years...

Ive heard of people transferring that way with a 70% average. Also, see if you can "trick" the enrollment system by doing 3 commerce subjects and 5 science subjects in a year so you can credit them for your second year starting bachelor of com

how do I 'trick' the system? Ideally that would be great

Hold on, you said you want to do this

Well my atar of 94.3 was only a little below the clearly-in and the reason why I'm so keen on semester is because I wanted to do Commerce followed by Masters of Engineering and I'm not keen on going to uni for 6 years...

Why not commerce / engineering @ monash? That's 5 years, and you get to do
an engineering project, something you won't get at melb. Plus, commerce / engineering
at Monash is well established.

I've considered that long and hard... it's just that Monash is so far away from me (90 mins by public transport)
