8 units. Makes up 48 credit points. Preferably put all core units in first year.

Im confused with this too. The RECOMMENDED COURSE MAP tells us to do 4/4 while some say do all 6 core units first year. Any help? :S

Actually, yes. It depends on which double degree with commerce you're doing.
In playsimme's case, I think you're doing commerce / arts, so
the recommended course map tells you to do 4 / 4.

But I've seen some people in AN (like Furbob), who's doing
the same arts / commerce degree as you.
I think she's doing the 6 core units first year, and the other
2 filled with her japanese electives.

In my case, i'm doing bachelor of commerce / economics.
That requires at least 10 core units, so in my first year (sadly),
all my 8 units are core units.

Playsimme, it depends on you, really, but if I was you
i'd get all the core units out of the way this year.

Nope, you can do whatever you want, you can do all comm subjects and no arts for the entire year, you can even just keep doing comm units until you finish your comm degree, entirely up to you.
