Lol excuse this question but breadth subjects are optional right?

Nope, you have to do 4-6 breadth subjects (12.5 credit points each) in bachelor of environments, commerce, biomed or science. Not sure about arts.

In commerce you can do up to 8 breadth actually (or more if you're in an engineering stream, usually 9). As for arts, the handbook seems to be unclear (possibly wrong) cause it suggest you only do 4 breadth subjects, whereas I'm pretty sure you can do 4-6.

Out of interest, what did you do for breadth?  Lots of Jap I'm assuming?

Yeah uni jap, which counted as 2 subjects, and another 3 units of japanese, so 5 altogether. Doing subjects I liked for both my major and my breadth really helped me keep a high GPA, so I think easiest breadth can = most enjoyable subject.
