My 3/4 is conveniently sandwiched snugly between my 1/2 exams, so really, I am rather intrigued to see how this will all pan out... Good practice for next year though I guess, in regards to time management.

Lit exam is before all my 1/2 exams, thank goodness.

Ideally, I'm going to try and do my best in Unit 2. Realistically, it's probably ok if I don't perform as well I normally do in all of them.:P

Music: We're assessed on our  recital performance so I'm dusting off my classical singing pieces and practicing every day. I am so glad I changed my instrument from oboe to voice. SO glad. It makes my life easier. Ten minutes of repertoire on oboe is seriously as taxing as playing continuously for an hour on any other instrument.  As for the theory exam.. hmm well,  I will study for that and hopefully it will be ok. We do aural in class every Friday ( we're learning to recognise different kinds of cadences and chord progressions at the moment) which I seem for the most part to be getting.
German: Oh dear. I really need to catch up on German. I think all will be ok though. I do need to revise the grammar stuff and vocab.
General Maths: ....I will try.
English: Should be fine.
Art:  Don't need to study , truly, I just write whatever comes to my head in the exam. The only other concern is that my folio will be due and framing takes a ridiculous amount of time.
Yeah... I do a whole lot of floopy subjects... ^_^

Apart from that it's all lit study.

My Further exams are about a week and a half before my Unit 2 exams, which is probably a good thing. I know most of my teachers have been trying to finish Unit 2 earlier because they realise a lot of us have Unit 4 exams, so that will help with revision. Otherwise, my revision will pretty much be normal for everything.

Is anyone in a situation where they're just doing exam revision for 3 & 4 exams at this stage, and not trying in any Unit 2 subjects

I spent a good two weeks before my trial exams working on a set of study notes of about 15 pages per AoS. Has made my life that much easier right now, as I'm just refining them and going back over them. Also means I can dedicate a bit more time to Y11.

Hahaha, join the club.. My Psych exam is smack bang in the middle of the two weeks for Unit 2 exams.. Yay :|
I'm not fussed about doing well in my other subjects, as long as I pass (well atleast get above 70%), because it's not every year that we get the opportunity to focus on one or two 3/4 subjects, so might as well make the most of this opportunity, right?
And in the end, 1/2 marks have little (generally no) effect on our 3/4 marks and all, as long as you pass and stuff. And so far I've managed to pull pretty decent overall scores for my 1/2 subjects, so from it'll just be night-before/bus-ride/free-period-before-exam cramming for me, just like last semester :P

Although I'm screwed for methods. Fingers crossed that it's the week after my psych exam so I can do some sort of preparation for it!!

I was fairly organised this year so I already have my revision notes set for all my Unit 2 subjects. My focus now is completing practice questions for GMA and Chemistry, while still working through trial exams for Further. :)

I've found that by caring and stressing about my Unit 1 & 2's less this year, due to 3 & 4's, has actually increased my marks :P

mm yeah - surprised when my report card turns up with A's and A+'s even though I'm doing the bare minimum (i.e. no extra study - just homework!). In a way though, I feel kind of guilty...not really gearing myself up for next year, am I? Also, my friends who aren't doing 3/4 subjects seem to be putting quite a bit of effort into their 1/2s, and when I end up getting a better mark (after a 30min cram session lol) I feel bad  :-[  Then I begin to wonder whether the teachers are favouring me, and then I feel worse than ever because I think my scores are just superficial or fake  :-\

Don't feel bad, Starfish, I guess it depends on your strengths. I mean,  I just got my mark back for an English SAC and I know I totally didn't deserve it; I had only studied the night before. However, I guess in the end it balances out because I could not do this for Maths for example; I actually have to put in a concerted effort!
Don't know about you but looking back on my interim report my reaction is kind of what/ how even/ I don't even remember.:p  Actually a lot of term three is kind of blotted from my memory... :p

You honestly shouldn't worry too much about your 1&2s. I had a 40% average for chem last year and even less for Methods and GMA + I didn't even do year 11 English, Media and GP. Still managed to be ranked #1 for English and Media and ranked #1 or thereabouts for Chem and Politics this year. 1&2s have very little consequence on their 3&4 equivalents, so relax guys! Don't let it get you down! Just make sure you blitz your year 12 study, even if it's at the expense of your year 11 grades (I scored 7% and 22% on my GMA exams - one of my better achievements). I don't endorse this at all, but don't let the thought of doing less well than you'd normally expect in your 1&2s distract you from your 3&4 exam.
