Uhhhh, we have laptops, so I think it's different.
But, no, not really.
Unless the teacher looks over your shoulder, they don't really know. But, sometimes they do random checks: i.e. looking through to see if a student has been using proxies etc. to get onto Facebook etc.

Also, lots of kids don't have the laptop the school recommends( they can track you that way), so they have to install all this stuff on to track you and connect you to the server etc. and costs a whole heap of $$$$$

People who have Mac's at my school can get away with not being tracked, as the school can't install the software to track you onto Mac's.

My school's smart, THEY bought the ipads, installed all the software then sold/rented them out to the kids ... But ofc theres a way around everything ...

And just in keeping with the current topic, my school also has a laptop policy.
Our IT guy is a lovely recluse who sits in his dungeon of an office blocking each and every slightly wayward site. So much love.

I'm so bored too! I spent all of yesterday going GMA, Further, English and Chemistry. Today, I was supposed to write another essay for Italian, but I think the topic the teacher's given us is far too difficult for our class. She's a new teacher and she probably overestimated our ability.

I'm fine I guess. Went for my first drive today. ^^
