Language Breadth

I did a proficiency test at UoM for Japanese last week and got into Japanese 3, I was wondering how we enrol in these breadth subjects online, as prerequisites prevent me from successfully confirming my place.

Do we just simply sit and wait for admin to enrol us themselves?

If you're thinking about commencing Japanese at a level higher than 1, you need to take the test to see where you place.

Written test was easy, just have to write a single page on 'best experience of 2011', followed by reading like 50 sentences and marking which ones you understand. For about 5 mins, you get the oral interview, which is basically them asking you the sentences you marked as understandable.

Note that you can always ask for a higher level if you feel you are up to it, and if you convince them then it should be fine. Trying to get into a lower difficulty level is enough...just do poorly on the test.

Yep. You can change any of your subjects until the census date, which is about 2 weeks after classes start (classes start the week after o-week).
