Will reading novels help section 1 + 2 in the umat?

Yes and no
Yes - it will make you a faster reader, improve your comprehension and general knowledge
Books are essentially written about human nature - so you learn more and more about people
No - its not a study technique you can use in the time leading up to it
Overall, yes in the long run but no if you start reading a couple of months before the UMAT
Just my humble, inexperienced opinion...
