The bullet is a multiply, otherwise it'll just look like 305^x. And yes, I'm pretty definite that's what he meant.

i'm soo shit at this. yes its a multiply sign and yes the x isn't meant to be next to the small two and damn forgot the = but does anyone have the answer?

u^2-30U+125
(U-5)(u-25)
u = 5, u = 25
5^x = 5, 5^x = 25
x = 1 x = 2
